DIO lanza reedciones de sus discos grabados entre 1996 y 2004

DIO reedita sus descatalogados discos, grabados entre 1996 y 2004 con cambios en ilustraciones y alguna portada como en ‘Killing The Dragon’

El 20 de Marzo se reeditaran través de BMG los álbumes en estudio de DIO editados entre 1996 – 2004: Angry Machines (1996), Magica (2000), Killing The Dragon (2002) y Master Of The Moon (2004). Algunos de estos discos no llegaron a editarse en vinilo y todos ellos, hace tiempo que estaban descatalogados.

Remasterizados por el técnico y colaborador de DIO, Wyn Davis. Con impresionantes nuevas ilustraciones y maquetación del diseñador habitual de DIO, Marc Sasso.

Dio no solo es conocido por su prolífica e impresionante carrea en solitario, también fue el “frontman” de bandas como Black Sabbath (reemplazando a Ozzy Osbourne), Elf, Rainbow y Heaven and Hell.

Dio también encabezó en 1985 el proyecto benéfico Hear n’Aid (para recaudar fondos contra el hambre en África) junto a músicos de Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Whitesnake, Journey, Ozzy, Def Leppard, Twisted Sister, Queensrÿche, W.A.S.P., Mötley Crüe, Dokken, Giuffria, Y&T, Vanilla Fudge, etc.

Dio falleció en 2010, después de una larga batalla contra el cáncer de estómago. La carrera de Dio abarcó un período de unos 50 años desde la década de 1950 hasta principios de la década del 2000.

Editado originalmente en 1996 y con la formación de Ronnie James Dio (Voz), Tracy G (Guitarras), Jeff Pilson (Bajo), Vinny Appice (Batería) y Scott Warren (Teclados).
